This isn't really a serious question and I hope this wouldn't be something too spoiler-y, but since returning to 1997, have Brooklyn and/or Gnash ever sat down whenever a new show/episode comes on for the first time saying that it's a classic much to Lex and Broadway's confusion like the Marty McFly meme?

Hi, Greg. I'm from Brazil, so, sorry for any misspelling (English is still my second language and i speak, listen and read more than I write). A few questions after watching season 4 of Young Justice:
1- Tim and Steph looked very cudly on the wedding scene. Was that an indication that they're together now?
2- If Ollie is broke since season 1, how did he still used all those trick arrows? The League? Bruce? I'm considering its something expensive and that i can't just buy on a regular sporting goods shop
3- I remember Rocket talking about Orion as Darkseid's child. Since there wasn't any (at least seen) conflict between the heroes and Darkseid, do they know about him because of the conflict at the orphanage? They've been doing some digging? Reports from the GL Corps? I assume they know everything about Granny Goodness, at least, and there was that conflict in Season 1 involving Desaad, but i could be forgetting something and don't believe any Darkseid loyalist would rat on him

Those were the questions. Thank u for your time. Hoping for a season 5 and, if not, that whatever new product you develop be as awesome as spectacular spidey, gargoyles and YJ (just need to finish gargoyles on Disney Plus)

1. In the House of El family tree, Kal-El and Kara Zor-El would be PATERNAL cousins because their respective fathers, Jor-El and Zor-El, are brothers. However, what would be Kara's exact relationship with both Kon-El and Johnny Kent; even though they are also likely PATERNAL?

2. In the Kane family tree, Bruce Wayne would the MATERNAL cousin of Kate Kane and Bette Kane; while Kate Kane and Bette Kane would be the PATERNAL cousins of Bruce Wayne. Both cases are because Bruce's mother, Kate's father, and Bette's father are siblings. However, what would be Kate's and Bette's exact relationship with Bruce's and Talia's son, Damian?

PS. I understand if you might get put off with questions associated with PATERNAL and MATERNAL relationships, but I'm just trying to make sure of the accuracy of such familial relationships in the Earth-16 universe; in comparison to the character's counterparts in the mainstream DC Universe (New Earth/Prime Earth).

Mr. Weisman,

I have read on the internet that you also want a fifth season of "Young Justice" and you are encouraging the fans to rally in order to save the show. However, what if that is NOT enough? Let me give you two examples of similar situations:

Example #1: Ruby Rose, who portrayed Kate Kane in the now-canceled CW TV series, "Batwoman," left the show after its first season. Caroline Dries, the showrunner, initially wanted to recast the character, but then she decided NOT to after she received some advice from Greg Berlanti. Fans demanded that Kate Kane be recasted, and then they became upset when Kate Kane was replaced by an original character named Ryan Wilder. This action caused Kate Kane fans to believe that Caroline Dries was disrespecting the Batwoman source material. Kate Kane would eventually revealed to be recast midway through the show's second season, but by the end of the second season finale, she left again; much to the disappointment of the Kate Kane fans. Essentially, had Caroline Dries listened to the fans and recast Kate Kane right away (as opposed to replacing her with an original character), the show would not have been so terrible and would not have ended up being canceled after its third season.

Example #2. After Chadwick Boseman died in 2020, Kevin Feige announced that he would NOT recast T'Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those who wanted the character recast started an online petition which gathered a very large number of signatures. However, when the first trailer and the movie synopsis for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" came out during Comic-Con 2022, it was revealed that T'Challa was permanently killed off. I have seen some very angry reactions on Twitter as a result of this. The idea of T'Challa being killed off in the MCU is utterly ridiculous/disgraceful because it robs us of watching his further character development and the relationships/connections that he made with the other characters in the MCU.

The point of me addressing these examples to you is to clearly show that ever since COVID-19 hit the United States, I have observed that people in the movie and television industries do NOT appear to listen to the comic book fans at all; since they cannot go outside and publicly protest on things such as this. These days, such people appear to stick by their decisions and don't seem to care what other people think. As such, I fear that HBO Max will be just the same, and "Young Justice" will likely be officially canceled; despite the efforts of the fans.

Mr. Weisman,

So I'm hearing that HBO Max NOT having any plans for a fifth season of "Young Justice does NOT necessary means that the show has been canceled. However, in my honest opinion, I feel that this is HBO Max's cowardly attempt to refuse to admit the truth about the show's cancellation. If true, it would not be the first time something like this has happened. Back in 2020, The CW did a backdoor pilot for "Green Arrow and the Canaries," which was supposed to be a spin-off of "Arrow." During that year, I occasionally read on the internet that a decision was still being made. Then, in January 2021, it was announced that "Green Arrow and the Canaries" was not picked up by the CW. It was later revealed that month that the spin-off was decided not to be picked up the moment that COVID-19 hit the United States. Essentially, The CW had LIED to its viewers and hid the truth for a full year. So, if HBO Max won't admit the truth that "Young Justice" is cancelled, it probably won't end up well for the fanbase if the truth ultimately comes out months or a year later, and that would make HBO Max just as bad as The CW. I truly hope you have a contingency plan to save "Young Justice" if this ends up being true.

First off I want to thank you for creating this amazing show called Gargoyles it was a big part of my childhood watched it a lot an are currently binge watching it on Disney Plus but I know you don’t own it anymore but I wanted to get your thoughts on how awesome it would be to see this show become a live action film or show? I think it would be badass but if not I would still like to see the cartoon show start back up I just think with Disney doing all these live action movies to add Gargoyles to that would be amazing and do really well it has a great story amazing characters who wouldn’t want to see that come to life in a major motion picture! I know I would only if it was done right a kept the same storyline start off in Middle Ages tell their story there then bring them to the city I’ve been thinking about it a lot lol but just wanted to get your thoughts since you created it!

Hi Greg!

1) Does Green Lantern Forager have a designation, since she was on the Watchtower in "Zenith and Abyss"?
2) Does the Kaizer-Thrall/Danny Chase have a designation, since he was on the Watchtower in "Zenith and Abyss"? He is sentient (and this was known to GL Forager before she brought him to the Watchtower) so I wonder whether he was given a designation when he arrived on the Watchtower, despite appearing to be a floating box to those who did not know him.
3) If Green Lantern Forager and/or Kaizer Thrall/Danny Chase were given designations on this occasion, what are their designations (if you would not mind revealing them, please)? We know that the next designations were A-50 (J'emm J'axx) and A-51 (Phantom Girl), so it seems likely that one or both of the preceding designations (A-48 and A-49) went to GL Forager and/or KT/Danny Chase if they were given Zeta access. Of course, I can't be sure of this since access may have been overriden for them as it was for Cheshire in "Artemis Through the Looking Glass". But I thought this might be worth asking about! :)

what makes YJ so great is the fact that you guys make a goddamn good duo and I really hope to see you working together for as long as you can work
I'll always keep binging YJ and trying to save Earth-16, but the thing is that, with all this current Warner's merge chaos and disrespect with animation-related workers (I don't know what it will be when you read this, but it's really worrying right now), I fear for YJ characters because they all belong to DC and DC belongs to Warner, so (if I understand this correctly) you couldn't even try to pitch something E-16 related to another company
but maybe we could get the chance of seeing Grandon work together once again with an all-original universe with all-original characters and that would be great

1) Why did no one think to put Arsenal in therapy during Young Justice Season 2? In one of the shows that averts the "There Are No Therapists" trope, it's kind of foolish for them to let him work on the Team and kick him off when he can't cope when he clearly needs psychiatric help. If a guy attempts suicide, you don't chew him out for risking his teammates, you ship him off to Black Canary until he gets a clean bill of mental health and I'm sure Black Canary could've helped Arsenal perfectly (Especially after seeing how she helped Garfield during season 4 in the episode "Forbidden Secrets of Civilizations Past!") and let's be clear that deep down Arsenal still had good in him and that he was never a lost cause who's beyond redemption like that Pure Evil Martian low-life Ma'alefa'ak/M'comm M'orzz and maybe Geo-Force/Brion Markov.

2) While he's still hot-blooded, he seems to have mellowed out a lot during the two-year time skip between Young Justice Seasons 2 and 3. Does that mean Arsenal is now a Jerk with a Heart of Gold (A jerkish character who is deep down a good or at least decent person)?

I know Brainy said there was a 99.84% chance the timeline was substantially restored, if things were changed AT ALL (Ursa getting away, Vandal getting all the Kryptonians, etc), wouldn't that mean that even if they went back to their era it wouldn't be exactly like they remember? That there would be other versions of them in this new timeline? 2) Went through a wrestling phase?

3) Haly’s Circus held a show in a carnival with wrestlers and Dick learned a few of their secrets by watching?

Hi again, Greg! :)

1) In "Depths", La'gaan says to Artemis, "I relish this opportunity to finally fight beside you, archer". Is there an in-universe reason for the fact that Lagoon Boy joined the Team in Team Year Four and Artemis left in Team Year Five but they didn't fight alongside one another in all that time? If so, what's the reason/what happened?

2) The Doom Patrol died in Team Year Five and Beast Boy is on the Team in February of Team Year Five (as he's present in Legacy). It seems a little bit doubtful that Gar would join the Team within a month or so of the Doom Patrol's demise, so I wonder: did Gar join the Team (if only part-time basis) while Elastigirl, Negative Woman and Chief were still alive? After all, you've said that Gar didn't go on every Doom Patrol mission, so it seems plausible that there could have been a time when he was a member of BOTH teams, if only perhaps on a part-time basis. Is this what happened?

3) I'm really curious about the fact that Mary Bromfield abused her powers (by spending too much time as Sergeant Marvel) and M'gann M'orzz was abusing her own telepathic powers by the time of Team Year Six. Possible spoiler request here, but is there a connection between what happened to these two girls in terms of how they abused their respective powers during the five-year gap?

Or was he born as a human female who transferred his brain to a gorilla? I don’t think the tie-in comics confirm or refute either scenario.

When Vandal Savage sent an invitation to the other initial members of the Light to join him, were any of them ever initially hesitant/skeptical about the offer and asked Vandal Savage, "What's in it for me?"

Mr. Weisman,

#1. When exactly did "Stargirl" (the pop culture television show hosted by Courtney Whitmore) first aired on television in the Earth-16 universe?

#2. Just for clarification, is Earth-16 the only known version of the DC Universe thus far in which Stargirl and Courtney Whitmore are publicly known to be one and the same person (if her interview with Beast Boy in the Season 4 finale is any apparent indication; since he did addressed her by her real name even though she was in costume)?

#3. I know that you previously refused to confirm the names of Courtney Whitmore's family members in the Earth-16 universe in a previous posting. However, what do they think/how do they feel in regards to her being the hostess of her own TV show and in regards to her superheroics as Stargirl and as a member of the Outsiders?

Mr. Weisman,

What was the exact year that Vandal Savage first encountered the Justice Society of America/All-Star Squadron? How more times did he encounter them afterwards and when did those encounters happened?

Hello Greg. I have a few questions for you.
1. Were Shining Knight (Sir Justin) and Vigilante (Greg Saunders) members of All-Star Squadron?
2. Are Robin (Tim Drake) and Spoiler (Stephanie Brown) a couple now?
3. When did they become a couple?

Mr. Weisman,

Will we ever see the Earth-16 versions of characters from "The Sandman Universe" line of DC Comics?

This Hafiz guy who posts a lot in the Ask Greg queue seems remarkably dim. The oldest question of his in the queue is in response to an answer Greg gave on April 1st about Jor-El and Lara coming to Earth and becoming the Kent's. Dude, April 1st is April Fools Day in America and it's a day Greg cuts loose and answers questions in a facetious manner. (Fair(on my defense i'm bengali and I don't understand sarcasm))

In his most recent post, he wonders why democracies/constitutional monarchies are portrayed more favorably than absolute monarchies and that Saudi Arabia treats their people better than the US. I know there's universal health care in SA, but it wouldn't do me much good if I was beheaded for witchcraft nearly a quarter into the 21st century. I'd also rather not be sawed up in an embassy for criticizing the ruler of the country. Will that universal health care put me back together? (Saudi follows God's law not some man made nonsense)

It's also tiresome when he quotes scripture and verse to conform with his conservative view of Islam. He should call himself Atatollah Bore-mani. He also seems like a MAGA chud when he complains about wokeness. (Sorry I reject democracy. MAGA people are insane as just like the left. Morality is nonexistent in secularism,)

As much as he enjoys the show, I hope he realizes it's all fiction, like the Koran, and he should stop berating Greg. Hafiz reminds me of the guy who attacked Rushdie today. (If I were to portray jews as greedy thieves and blacks people as thugs would the masses just watch as something fictional for the sake of story or would they boycott my story? I would have to pay for libel. As for Salman Rushdie how is that he can slander peoples belief and publish lies and go unpunished? don't get me wrong I don't condone their behavior. Random Muslims can't resort to vigilantism but at the same time Salman Rushdie shouldn't resort to lie to trick the ignorant masses)
Greg Weisman always will be one of my favorite writers up there with George RR Martin, Mark Twain, and Edgar Allan Poe but that doesn't if he makes a blunder I'm going to idly sit by and let him go scott free especially if he responds to fans and I know he makes retractions

Better put in my original idea, I think the Team should open a disco and invite the Dazzler from Marvel Comics to help run it.

In season 3 we started seeing more meta-human trafficking in relation with Apokolips, and now in season 4 getting a glimpse of (what I’m assuming) kidnapped humans and meta-humans on Apokolips. I was wondering, approximately how long have humans/meta-humans been being sent to Apokolips? Did it just begin around season 3’s time period or before that?
Thank you to you and the entire crew. Absolutely LOVE this show!

Whatever happened to Count Vertigo's cane sword after Wally turned it down as a souvenir in favor of the container for Queen Perdita's transplant heart? Since it's a priceless national treasure of Vlatava, is it in a museum? Is it in the Vlatavan royal palace? Or is it gathering dust in the Vlatavan royal attic because Perdita doesn't like having the weapon of her murderous uncle hanging on the mantle over the fireplace?

In season 3, I kept waiting to see Superboy in a tuxedo since Dick, Artemis and Jeff wore fancy clothes for their missions, but since we didn't see Conner wear a tux until the end of season 4, i'm curious did you do that on purpose? Did you want to make us wait until the waiting to finally see Conner in a tuxedo. HE LOOKS SO HANDSOME I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! THANK YOU FOR NOT KILLING HIM OFF!!!!

Why do you portray absolute monarchies as something malevolent (Bialya) while portraying constitutional monarchies and democracy as something benevolent(United Nation, America(implied), Vlatava) to their own people. Many could argue that Saudi Arabia (me included) the government (monarchy) treats their own people better than here in America (democracy)

In "Auld Acquaintance", Red Arrow speculates that Vandal Savage "paused to bask" and that this is the reason that the former was able to escape the Watchtower. Was Red Arrow correct, or did Vandal deliberately give Red Arrow an opportunity to escape?
