just watched Temptation again. Right after Brooklyn escaped from Officer Morgan, he throws out the rest of his Donuts out of his BROKEN car window. When did the glas break? Was the chase originally planned a bit longer?
I don't remember.
hi Mr. Greg i wanted to tell you that i enjoyed watching gargoyles. One question is when you ended the show, are you going to continue it from the comics in animated version this year because that would be wonderful for all the fans out there. also i wanted to ask you why did you end the show quick before in the 1996? thank ou very much.
I didn't personally end it. I was released from Disney and they continued without me. Then they ended it, for a variety of reasons I've gone into ad nauseum in the past. Check the archives.
When is season 3 of Gargoyles going to be available on DVD?
I give up. When?
I finally made that order at amazon and got my personal gargoyle-fan-package (both DVD sets and Clan Building Volume 1) delivered overseas to Europe. Better late than never. I would have ordered issue #7, too, but for some reason amazon doesn't have it on their site.
Well, for now my plan is to get the TPBs, since shipping costs for single comics would be a little high, I guess. So Clan Building Vol. 2 and Bad Guys TPB (please tell me, this is planned) are next on my list in a couple of months.
Just wanted to let you know, there is another guy with an incomplete collection keeping his fingers crossed for Disney to make the Season 2 Vol.2 DVD and for you to be able to write a lot more comics.
Thanks. There will be a Bad Guys TPB, though not in a mere couple months of course.
Greg, Long time fan. In fact, Gargoyles got me interested in writing my own stuff and, like every other Gargoyles fan, into Shakespeare.
But I wanted to ask something about two of the Spidey characters that seem to be neglected in the questions. Namely the two most important girls in Peter's life: Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson.
I noticed that the latter was out, which, while I thought it was a bold move, did lead to some questions in my mind. In the origional 616 comics, Peter meets MJ through Gwen, and through their mutual grief over Gwen's death, become the couple we know today. That fact, coupled with Gwen looking upset that the cheerleader was giving Peter some attention have poked extreme thoughts into my mind: Will you be doing a "Death of Gwen Stacy" rendition in your series? As someone who believes that was one of the best comic book story lines of all time, I would much appreciate seeing that finally acknowledged (unlike in the movies) correctly (unlike in the Ultimate title, which you seem to be loosely following). I know this is a kids TV show, and the manner of how Gwen died (Peter caught her in a web line, causing her neck to snap due to whiplash) is somewhat gruesome for Saturday Morning TV, but it seems the trend of most Spiderman media to include Gwen with her death sentance. Very few do it right though, and I was hoping that after almost a decade, you would still be capable of pulling another "Deadly Force" on us.
In the original comics (I'm not sure I know what 616 means), Peter met M.J. through his Aunt May and her best friend Anna Watson (i.e. M.J.'s Aunt) - not through Gwen. Gwen met M.J. through Pete.
I'm not loosely following the Ultimate title. I'm borrowing from many sources, including Ultimate Spider-Man, but our primary sources are the original Lee/Ditko and Lee/Romita issues of Amazing Spider-Man.

This day in Gargoyles' Universe History....
Forty-five members of the Paris orchestra meet in the catacombs in full tuxedo to perform a concert.
Dr. Anton Sevarius recruits two homeless men off the streets of New York.
Hmmm... I just realized... that Sims 2 comment isn't counted as an original idea or concept is it? You know the Sims? The simulation game by Maxis... you can create your own skins for characters and I made the sisters... well I hope this goes through. If not, oh well I'll try again.
Went through fine.
First off before I say anything I was going through the archive and I found some old questions by me... I want to apologize because I was somewhat of a jerk back then. Apparently, I went on a rant about "the webmaster should get in here and do this and that and all this other stuff." I don't even remember doing it, but I'm sorry :( I'm not on my high horse anymore though so I won't be a jerk anymore =P
Well, uhm questions... I have so many but there's one I've wanted to know for a long time. It's about the Weird Sisters. I know you don't like "what if" questions that much and you're free to not answer at all if you wish. I've always wondered though, what if somehow one of them died or even was separated really far? I know they're like three women sharing the same soul so that just makes me wonder. I also know Oberon's Children can't die so easily and they have to be in a mortal form to do so (I think, right?), but I've always liked the Weird Sisters. You should see all the trouble they get into in Sims 2.
Thanks for your time.
I've got no answers for you. But you were perfectly polite. So don't worry.
Hi Greg. This is an odd question, but I don't think anyone else has asked this(though I maybe wrong). How old is Fu-Dog supposed to be when Brooklyn and company return from their Timedancing quest?
I'm not answering this at this time.
