A couple questions about the additions to the lineup for Invasion.

1. Had rights not been an issue, would you have set up Wondergirl in Season One the way you did Mal, Karen, Gar, and La'Gaan?

2. Did you plan on all of the Season 2 Team members from the beginning? I'm particularly thinking of Blue Beetle since he didn't get a cameo in Season 1.

3. Were the Season 2 recruits drawn from their own list? Or were they the "runners-up," as it were, from your masterlist of young heroes used for Season 1's lineup.

First off Mr. Wiesman I would like to say sorry on behalf of the fanbase, obiviously some people have poor impulse control and lash out to those who don't deserve. I am confidant that you and the rest of the Young Justice production team know what you are doing. I won't bore you with the concerns that I have after watching Happy New Year but once again I state that I am confidant in you and the rest to adress those concerns. That being said I do have actual questions to ask. Sorry if some off these have been asked before but as you know it is kind of depressing to read the unanswered section of this blog.

1)Why is Zatanna a member of the Justice League? admittingly part of the reason is that I am sad to see the old Team broken up I do not understand why Zatanna would leave. Being on the Justice League would mean working beside Doctor Fate, who as far as I know, is still controlling her father. Even if she can put aside her feelings to work beside Fate that means she would have leave the team since she is the strongest pure magic user and there seems to be no replacement for her role. Again something that happened during the time skip could explain this and only the first episode of season 2 has aired but her motivation for joining the league are unclear to me as of this writing.

2) How is Rann able to keep up with current members (such as newly inducted Zatanna and Rocket) of the Justice League and put them on their most wanted list while Earth and the Green Lantern Corp are ignorant of this fact, does Rann have the ability to monitor galactic events while keeping a low profile or is there something else at work

3)Finally and I apologize if this seems both a bit whiny and probably asked already (like I said the unanswered archives kind of scare me now) but what was your reasoning for inducting Rocket into the Team in the last two episodes of season one when she leaves to be in the league in season 2. I mean with all the plot threads being tied up in those episodes she didn't get much of a chance to shine so I am wondering why include her when from my perspective she could have appeared as a guest star in an earlier episode and be in the team during the time skip. Once again I am sure you have your reasons and most likely this will be met with SPOILER REQUEST but can the fans expect her tenure on the Team have an effect on stories that if not affect episodes of Invasion at the least the comic book tie in or upcoming Legacy game.

4) SOrry I said I something occured to me while writing the last question but I have a question about legacy. SInce it is a year away and since it is it takes place during the time skip I am worried that if this game were to be cancelled during development the fans would lose valuable insight to what happened between seasons one and two. So this question is that if the game contains information to better understand the transition and this game is cancelled, will that information be avaliable via alternative methods?

Thats it so thank you for your time and I hope that the grief that the more...militant members of the fanbase don't cause you to lose faith in the part of the fanbase who still believe that you and the production team can deliever the same quality entertainment that caused us to become fans in the first place.

Crazy brilliant season premiere, team. It's a perfect sequel to the first season: at its core, this series is a story about how the youth of the DCU grow and evolve into adult heroes. Moving from the first 'generation' of sidekicks to a second seems perfectly natural in hindsight. I'm looking forward to getting to know your versions of all of the new characters.

I'm certain that you'll find it impossible to completely ignore the hate generated by the changes to the show - but I hope you don't take any of it to heart. Take it instead as reaffirmation that you have really hooked many viewers - take it to mean that they really care about the characters that you have shaped, and that they are actually afraid for their futures. I want to know what happens with Wally and Artemis and Kal'dur'ahm as much as the next fan - but I also have faith that you and your team will deliver.

However, we still have not seen a green light for a third season. While I don't dislike Green Lantern, I'd much rather Young Justice continue to be a part of DC Nation once Beware the Batman becomes part of the block as opposed to GL:TAS. I live a few miles from Cartoon Network HQ ... do you think it would do any good if I took them cookies on a daily basis in order to convince them to pick up the show for another 26 episodes?

I've just remembered 2 questions. (It was going to be more than 5 anyway)

1- During season 1, only Alfred, a few league members and Ra's Al Ghul knew Batman and Robin's identity.
Now 5 years later, are Batman, Nightwing, Robin and Batgirl's identities known to the rest of the team? Or only a few of them know? (in that case, who knows?)

2- When did Barbara discover Dick was Robin/Nightwing? When did she become Batgirl? When did she join the team?

This is more a comment and not a question. I wanted to let you know I have really enjoyed Young Justice so far, but I have a slight complaint, I am from Mexico and english is my second language, so whenever I see characters that speak spanish on the show they seem to speak english like stereotypes, and it is somewhat offensive.

Usually Bane will speak mostly perfect sentences in english with complex words in them but then call people "amigo" or "niño", a real person wouldn't do that, as those are some of the first words one learns when learning english. His dialogue with the Kobra guy seems like it was translated literally word by word, like when he says "mi mejor" meaning "my best", although it is a correct literall translation of those two words, that and most of the conversation makes little to no sense in spanish.

A similar case happens with Blue Beetle calling people "hermano" and things of the sort. I understand that you are trying to make it clear that these characters know spanish, or have a latin american background, but I really wish you tried a different approach like the accent Bane spoke in Batman: TAS rather than reinforce a negative stereotype. To give you an idea, it's like if every african-american character on the show spoke in ebonics.

Sorry if I seem to be nitpicking but it really is the only thing that bothers me in the show, other than that. it's very awesome. Thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into it as well as the time you spend answering fans.

1. In YJ: Invasion, we see that Superboy hasn't aged much (if at all). Is this due to the fact that he's a clone (much like in the original comics)?

2. If the answer to the above is yes, how is it that the Roy Harper clone was able to age physiologically from 15 to 18 like a normal human?

3.If the answer to the first question is no, how old is Superboy physiologically in YJ: Invasion?

Just wanted to say that I loved the first ep of season 2!!! It made me happy and sad at the same time; I loved Dick Grayson being the baby of the team but I also like Tim.
I couldn't stand that people were freaking out about old characters not being there and what happened five years ago and blah blah blah: I mean, seriously, were they expecting all that to be in episode ONE??? And I'm 15, some of those people ranting were in college. I was like, nice...real mature.
I seriously believe that you won't let us down and will keep this show amazing.
On Tumblr, a lot of people were seriously posting death threats targeted towards you and Brandon and I was like, people are retarded. Nuff said.
Questions!!! Not sure if you can answer these, but:
1. Does the team know Nightwing's ID?
2. How long has Dick been Nightwing? Tim as Robin?
3. Does Dick live in Bludhaven?
4. Is Dick in college?
5. What made Dick become Nightwing? Did you use the comic story, Dick and Bruce arguing etc?

I've been really curious about the eyebrow coloring in the show though. I noticed Wally, Wonder Girl, and a few other people have colored eyebrows to match their hair, but others don't. Is there any reason Miss Martian and Black Canary have black eyebrows?

In this series as far as I have seen Conner dosen't wear glasses like he did in the comics. He looks the same when he's working with the team as he did when he went to school, s-shield shirt aside. I know YJ is a covert/black ops type team but one would think that Conner got his face caught on a camera somewhere.

5) How does the Light recruit supervillains to work for them (apart from the League of Shadows and the member's own forces)?

1) What are Tim's strengths and weaknesses? There was a slight controversy over Dick possessing hacking skills, so I'm wondering how Tim translates onto to the show.

AHHHHHHH! The season 1 finale and season 2 premier just blew my mind.

I smell some serious Greg Weisman subterfuge (or perhaps suprafuge if you ask Robin).

I can remember my tiny heart breaking the first time I saw "Future Tense" on the Disney Afternoon. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Same goes for "Failsafe".

You're not getting me again. I am already preparing myself for this to be an alternate reality (even though I know you've said that is something you avoided in Gargoyles) or something. I may have spotted a small clue that affirmed this in the final scene's time stamp.

Not guessing, just looking forward to enjoying whatever you have in store.

Also, loved the Black Spider cameo. Very clever. Spectacular Spiderman was an awesome show and the new Ultimate Spiderman is GARBAGE. Just really, really bad.

My reviews on Nightwing, Robin/Tim Drake, Batgirl, Blue Beetle/Jaime Reyes, Lagoon Boy, Wondergirl and Gordon Godfrey after watching the very perfect "Happy New Year". BTW Greg don't listen to all those idiots who talk nonsense about the "Time Skip" and the new characters.

Nightwing and Robin/Tim Drake:
I didn't know I would be seeing those two guys very early in the show, but they both have great lines, personalities and costumes though. Plus they are both two of my most favourite DC heroes. I loved the conversions between those two. I also love the part where Robin teams up with Blue Beetle and Lagoon Boy.

Batgirl:
HA!!! I always knew Batgirl exists on Earth 16!!! I liked the part where she teams up with Wonder Girl. Great costume and I'm surprised that you gave her black coloured boots and gloves. She's one of my most favourite DC heroines. Would be great to hear some one-liner jokes from her though. And yes Greg, "she is all that!!!"

Blue Beetle/Jaime Reyes:
"That guy" and Batman: The Brave and the Bold is what got me into DC Comics in the first place. I love his costume, powers, Spanish quotes and jokes. His voice is so funny that I just simply laugh everytime he says a word. The part where he talks to his costume was also funny. I would love to see his girlfriend Traci 13 on YJ though, hopefully time will tell. Overall this is why Blue Beetle/Jaime Reyes is one of my most favourite DC heroes. Oh and congratulate his voice actor for making him so funny!!!

Lagoon Boy:
I'm not very familar with him, but I like his appearance, powers and voice.

Wondergirl:
I'm a huge fan of her outfit after watching the episode. But I really couldn't believe people on youngjustice.wikia are complaining about her shoes. Just don't listen to them Greg, I actually think her shoes are cute.

Gordon Godfrey:
Like Blue Beetle, his voice is so funny!!! I've actually never heard of him before. But I have heard of "Godfrey", it's an Australian company that sells vacuum cleaners.

My final thoughts:
All those characters that I've reviewed are now on my list of favourite YJ characters, I've watched "Happy New Year" at least 4 times now and I've actually told JM DeMatteis about Blue Beetle/Jaime Reyes on your show. Hopefully the rest of Season 2 will turn out perfect. Bye Greg!!!

The start to season two was awesome!!!!!!!

So many questions! This show is amazing and does not treat its viewers like kids. I appreciate that you give us intelligently scripted plots and it calls for patience and those who want their hands held and everything nice and cute and shippy...well go watch Nickelodeon. Five years has passed. People change and GROW up. This season has a sense that the show is growing up too and reflect that change. Miss Martian and Conner breaking up is actually the most understandable/realistic change in all of it. They were kids and they were not even normal teens. But it would be pretty cliche setting Lagoon boy as the fall guy so Conner can pine and Megan can pretend she doesn't care for Conner and we have a silly love traingle. Let them move on for goodness sakes. I loved seeing Nightwing leading the team and in time I am sure we will get the stories behind the changes. I sense he and Zatanna have a little vibe but again, maybe they moved on. They were kids too.

Wondergirl (she was awesome), Blue Beetle (so funny),Lobo (love that he got his bounty...he's a tough) Glorious Godfrey (yeeee Darkseid???) Batgirl, Tim Drake, Adam Strange...I love the new heroes and characters and curious to find out what happened to Kaldur, Artemis and Wally. What did the League do for those missing hours and why are they wanted. Oooh so exciting. I for one can't wait and it will be torture to have to wait a whole week...The shows are just not long enough.

So ignore the crybabies.

Hi Greg. I have tried my best to put my top concerns in to questions you can actually answer.

1) As seen in the season premiere, you have removed Wally, Artemis, and Kaldur as series regulars. Yet, Dick, M'Gann, and Connor (and Wolf) remain. Was this decision based upon favoritism, or was it a purely storytelling decision?

2) Why is it that the relationship between Wally and Artemis always seems to be the last thing you address? Is this just to torture us?

3)I'm a little miffed that Zatanna is off the team. She wasn't on the team for very long and never got as much development as she could have. I guess there's only so much screen time to go around when there are so many characters running around.

I have some questions concerning Superboy's age. Call it too much time, but it's your fault, creating such an interesting character.
1. Since Superboy has never left his pod, I was wondering if he was 'born' in there as a new-born baby, and aged one year each week, or was he created as a teenage boy?
2. If the latter is true, does he age physically outside his pod? Because I couldn't really see much difference between the 2010-Superboy and the 2016-Superboy.

I live in a country where YJ isn't aired in television, but me and my sister are in tension each Saturday, waiting for the newest episode to be uploaded. And today's episode really overwhelmed us with the new characters and the time leap. Awesome.

To the "fans", I think you ought to have a little more faith in Greg.

I'm not exactly praising the first episode of Invasion that much, but remember one thing: it's Greg Weisman! He made Gargoyles, The Spectacular Spider-Man, the second season of W.I.T.C.H., and this incredible first season of Young Justice! This is all top-notch work, and one "bad egg" shouldn't change what you think of his work. Knowing how Greg works, I'm sure the rest of Invasion will be worth waiting for. If you don't like the first episode of Invasion (and I'm not saying it's a masterpiece or even anything that great), that's your issue, but please don't turn your back on Greg's top-notch work just for that. He'll make it work. I have faith in that.

First and foremost, great writing. As an animation aficionado for many years, I continue to enjoy where things go, and how things unfold. Kudos for the time jump, I look forward to the "look backs" to see how things have unfolded to where we are today. (I'm assuming this look backs, of course, but I'm sure through the process, you'll have to explain how things went from A>B)

My questions have to do more with process and collaboration with DC.

1) With the reboot of the DC Comics, is it easier or more difficult to reach into DC history for storyline or character shaping? An example is in episode 2:1. Pulling Glorious Godfrey out of hallowed antiquity is very nice...many of your fans weren't even alive when "Legends" was published...and Kudos do Tim Curry. I will say, it sounded a bit like "The Voice of London" there for a moment (from "V") but, once I listened, you can hear ole Frank-N-Furter warming up...For me, he will always be Sir Gawain in "Prince Valiant" but I digress.

2) With the reboot, how much interaction do you have with Dan (Dido), Jim (Lee) et al...from the stand point so you can to reference the past without copying exact story lines, allowing the story to move in its own direction?

Hi Greg! I looked through the archives and found that you previously mentioned that the first couple seasons of Gargoyles cost $400k-500k per episode to produce.

Assuming the cost of haven't changed dramatically, it seems as though animation is cheaper than the standard scripted network show. Given that, I'm surprised there aren't more animated shows on the major networks, especially with anime so popular in the US now, particularly among older audiences.

I think the only weakness to Young Justice is that it feels like the stories are big enough to fit in a whole hour, but are being condensed to thirty minutes. Again, assuming the cost of animation is in the ballpark of what it was for Gargoyles, an hour-long show doesn't strike me as financially prohibitive.

1. Can you say how much Young Justice costs to produce? A ballpark would be fine if you can't/don't want to give exact numbers.

2. What are your thoughts on the lack of non-Fox/non-comedy prime-time animation? Do you think this is something that can change in the future?

3. Do you think we might one day see hour-long dramatic animation? Did you ever consider making YJ an hour long?

There are far too many "askef & answered"s...but leave the "spoiler requests" - they actually give some information sometimes) & I've noticed that you are obviously one of a large number of people who dont like "spoilers" - and you tend to berate those who activly post/seek them out. Now I realize this is your forum, so basically what you say goes...but are you aware (or even care) that there are just as many people out there, like myself, whose enjoyment of most media precludes our knowing how it turns out? Ill give you an example...I will wait YEARS before watching a critcally acclaimed Hollywood blockbuster until I know for sure its worth investing even two short hours (ie. I refuse to watch a movie where the main character/animal dies senselessly at the end... as its a waist of my time and insulting - and the "sometimes death is senseless" argument doesnt work for me...reality IS senseless enough, thats why I like my fiction to make some sense at least...its called "escape" and nit "the eavening news" for a reason).
understand that you definatly would not agree with me, but is it really that hard to understand why some people would get more enjoyment out of your work if they had more to look forward to than the old (an eternally frustrating"just watch and see"? - I cant even tell you how many times Ive up and left the room when everybody else has seen the movie and nobody will answer a simple yes or no question because they didnt want to "ruin it" for me, when in fact they just did.
Basically what im getting at is, could you please not villify those who hust want to know a little more than your giving...Im not asking you to give more, but just because someone doent think like you, doesnt mean they are thoughtless.

In "Happy New Year!", when it's revealed what happened during the 16 hours that some league members were missing, it seems like no one had figured it out already. Are we really supposed to believe that Batman (the world's greatest detective) just gave up trying to figure out where he went? I mean, he had plenty of time to investigate it. Love Tim's look, and attitude, and loving that Dick still isn't part of the League. I had a feeling that Bumblebee would be in it, Love that Cassie is Wondergirl, and Blue Beetle is funny when he's talking to the Scarab. Okay, now the big part.

I'm so glad Dick hasn't lost his personality over five years, but will we be seeing more of his wordplay in the future is my question (don't have to answer, will be following intensly.

I think the time skip was perfect, since and invasion like what was seen today could take a lot of planning, and Vandal has some kind of plan, I just know it.

Okay, my rant is over, but overall, I was WHELMED, but I couldn't take my eyes off the screen, so I guess I was OVERwhelmed. LOL, got in a bit of Dick's wordplay.

Was this just originally a throw away line similar to Matt Bluestone's line about the Illuminati, or was did was the line meant all long to lay the seeds for a possible episode in the (then) future about the ghost of Hakon and the Captain? 8.) Last but certainly not least, Wally and Artemis’s romance on this show is not only my favorite on the show, but might be my favorite romance on all the show’s you’ve produced. That’s no small feat amongst company like Goliath/Eliza, Fox/Xanatos, Peter/Gwen, Spider-Man/Black Cat. As a Wally West fan (my favorite of the Flashes), you and the YJ crew have also done something I didn’t think possible. Make me want to see him end up with someone besides Linda Park. Not that I wouldn't mind that as a detour, but as long as all roads end with him and Artemis together I'd be happy. I also thought Wally scooping her up before their first kiss and Artemis being fine with it was adorable as well. I’d also be remiss if I didn’t give major props to Jason Spisak and Stephanie Lemelin. Those two have had cracking chemistry from day one Artemis showed up. Whether it's them bickering or in the more tender moments, they deserve just as much credit as you and the crew did for bringing this relationship to life. I imagine it was probably a joy to watch them interacting at the table readings and/or voice recordings. Anyways this one wasn’t a question so much as me giving you and the crew a pat on the backs for creating one of my favorite romances in animation. I look forward to where both Wally and Artemis end up going in Season 2.

Ok, my question is about the "death rules" in your shows, AKA the conditions under which you could kill a character off (for example, you said in your Gargoyles' rambles that you could show Othello and Desdemona in "City of Stone, Part 1" because A)the audience already knew they were dead and B)it already knew they'd be back as Coldstone, otherwise you couldn't have personalized the victims of the massacre; you also said that, even though you killed off the Magus in "Avalon, Part 3", you couldn't actually say outloud that he was dead).

Hi Greg. I just wanted to say that I know how frustrating it can be working on a show that draws from so many years of comic book mythology and has so many diehard fans. You can't please everyone and those who are not pleased seem to be the most vocal. That being said... Young Justice is AMAZING. You have managed to make so many characters in the DC Universe (or is that Nation?) that I once thought of as superfluous or one-dimensional... utterly fascinating. Auld Acquaintance was an amazing ending for the first season and I can not wait for Young Justice Invasion. As I said, I know some people aren't pleased with things like Zatanna being young enough to be on the Team , the addition of Icon and Rocket or there being 3 Green Lanterns on Earth simultaneously, etc. But DC (like Marvel) exists in a Multiverse and this is YOUR reality. The rest of us are lucky enough to get a peek at it. So... get on board or get out of the way!

What was Robbie planning to do after Castle Wyvern was to have become the gargoyles' property? Live with them? Go off on his own? Somehow I doubt that sticking with Hakon was what he had in mind. I know that you're not into "hypothetical" questions, so to speak, but it seems reasonable that Robbie would have had planned himself some sort of future following the attack. Did we see his plans play out, or was he made to change them following the massacre instead?

First of all, let me say that how much I have always enjoyed Gargoyles. It was a high point of the afternoon for my younger brothers and me during the original run (while our mother enjoyed having a half hour relatively free of sibling squabbles), and now I'm having a lot of fun introducing the show to my 4-year-old son. So, you see, your show has multi-generational appeal! Thank you for all your hard work and vision.

Secondly, I guess my question is about your writing process. I recently discovered via this site your ideas for the prospective Gargoyles spin-offs. This suggests to me that you write with a, for lack of a better term, "master plan" in mind. Unlike, say, David Milch, who famously writes and re-writes furiously as new ideas occur to him, and actually plans out very little.

1)Would you say this is accurate?
2)If so, do you ever deviate from this plan, if a new and different idea strikes you?
3)Again if so, would you mind providing an example? (A Gargoyles show example would be just fine, I'm not asking for spin-off spoilers here!)

First off, I dearly love the show; I've stuck with it ever since January of last year, and I'm really glad I did! Liking the characterizations, the shoutouts and in-jokes and other little details put in there to show that, yeah, you and your guys think about all of this and enjoy your work. And I gotta say that my favorite ship is Wally and Artemis, so I'm pleased with developments there and looking forward to seeing where it goes!

But this is a question site, and I do have some serious questions, mostly on Zeta-Beams, the Watchtower and other Space Tech, being a big space and sci-fi geek:

1. First off, who invented the Zeta-beam tech that's so omnipresent in the series? Is it a native Earth development or an alien import?

1a. After invention comes development: who built the Zeta-beam network (almost certainly WayneCorp, but just checking)?

2. Since there's a usable and practical teleportation system available in the setting, is there any non-hero use of the system (or potential plans to open the system to civilian use)? If not, is there some aspect to the system (like high energy costs) that makes it cost-prohibitive on a mass scale? Or does the Justice League prefer to keep the competitive advantage to themselves?

3. Next up, the Watchtower; gotta start with the basics here: How do people--especially Earth-based astronomers--*miss* seeing an orbiting station the size of a major office building?

4. Assuming that they don't miss it, that argues that the Watchtower isn't alone up there; has Earth-16 started developing a space industry (like we're doing now, with the new company Planetary Resources) with space stations, asteroid mining, solar energy stations, etc.?

4a. And given that energy costs for launchers are the primary prohibiting factors in orbital development and that there are many heroes capable of orbital lifts (Superman, Capt. Marvel, the Green Lanterns, just for starters), has NASA and other organizations and companies asked them for help in getting things to orbit? (Several millions dollars for a one-use rocket that could explode if someone did the math just a little bit wrong, or a nice but smaller check for the Justice League... hmm... decisions, decisions... :) )

I will try to keep this from becoming a spoiler-asking question, hopefully! Though due in part to the… specificity, I don’t know how successful this will be.

You mentioned before that there was undoubtedly going to be (at least one) lgbt character on the show. I won’t ask who, as spoilers, but I guess thatâ€"the ending of the first season really threw me, in a sad way. A sudden parade of heteronormativity at the end of a show season where I had a lot of hope that there might be an lgbt relationship acknowledged by the writing hit pretty hard!

I know that one person does not control all the creative decisions of a tv production by themself, but I guess I wondered if a canonically acknowledged lgbt character was still a thing that WILL happen. Because it is well and good to say “undoubtedly they exist,” but ultimately never acknowledging that within the show does lgbt kids no good! Because saying something like, “obviously chances are someone on the team is lgbt,” is actually really meaningless to us lgbt people if that part of their identity is never shown or confirmed. It just continues to make us invisible in the mainstream media (particularly kid’s media) while still playing up having some diversity, and that does hurt.

I read a book about "monsters" in medieval art and apparently St Augustine claimed that even "monsters" were worthy of salvation but only if they were descended from man. Apparently Augustine's comments were very important to missionaries and their work. Could this have been a reason that Katherine didn't bapitise the Gargoyles as they weren't descended from man? Or was it a more literal, no priest on Avalon king of thing?

In some ways it seems the surviving Gargoyles were quite lucky with who survived. As Hudson was elderly and the trio were teens, none were in a position to challenge Goliath even if they wanted to. There was a very clear chain of command. There was also no females, so there was no conflict amongst the males about mates up until Angela joined.
1)What would have happened if Goliath had survived with a female group or predominatly female group of Gargoyles such as Hyppolyta, Desdemona or True for example/etc? Would he have felt obligated to take a mate from this group to preserve his species?
2)What if all the survivors were of Goliath's generation? After what happened with Wyvern would these adults in their prime have still accepted Goliath's leadership?(E.G Iago, Coldstone, Desdemona, Hyppolyta etc)
P.S If you think the questions are too general could you please answer regarding the characters that we've met or you've told us about from the Wyvern Clan. Thanks.

Hey Greg, loving Young Justice so far, so keep up the good work! I just had a few questions in mind that I hope aren't simply in the annoying "no comment" territory as they mostly pertain to the choices you and others involved have made as opposed to just spoilers.

1. Was there ever discussion to use Tim Drake or Jason Todd instead of Dick Grayson for Robin? Personally, Grayson is my favorite, but I'm a huge fan of how you've incorporated some Drake-traits into him. This is probably my favorite incarnation of the character in any medium that I've seen!

2. I LOVE the inclusion of the ranking system for the teams. Who decided on which people should be ranked above others (outside of the obvious Superman-1, Batman-2, etc)? Was that a subject that caused a lot of debate amongst the writers?

3. I'm curious...I can see why Vandal Savage, Ra's al Ghul, and Lex Luthor are in The Light, but why the others? Queen Bee seems to be getting quite a bit of screen time for someone a little out of the mainstream. Was the choice of using people like her, Brain, Sportsmaster, and others that are frequently showcased just a matter of the writers/producers really liking those characters or is there a plan set in motion?

4. What was the design process of Riddler like? His look is quite different in some ways than what I was expecting.
