Hi, Greg. I just want to say, I am a huge fan of The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated series. You did an awesome job! It is the most popular Marvel TV show ever! Not to mention the art style and animating is very outstanding. I grew up I watching it as a kid and I still love it. I also love the theme song, itâs incredibly catchy and energetic. I hope the show will comeback someday. Iâm keeping my fingers crossed. Josh Keaton is one of my voice actors of Spider-Man, he did an amazing job.
I have question. Are you hoping to bring back The Spectacular Spider-Man Animated Series someday in the future?
Dear Greg,
If you haven't seen Invincible watch it now I think its awesome than Young Justice
How is Rodunn (the Atlantean merman) around humans if he ever met one?
Hey Greg!
I was wondering if you can share your thoughts on Dick and Zatanna in s4? Heâs in a relationship with Barbara, which has been confirmed, but donât his and Zeeâs interactions kind of go beyond the âbeing friends with exes is my superpowerâ thing? Idk, maybe Iâm reading too much into some scenes. Still I think itâs safe to say Dick would never cheat BUT it is kind of weird how much they flirt, and not just in a lighthearted way.
Hello, I hope youâre doing well!
I had a few questions about YJ
1. When it comes to moves and maneuvers, you kept it quite simple and limited in the show, however, is there a specific source where theyâre like kept and listed, or do you just randomly choose numbers/names for them? Are they consistent across dc universe or does every creator kind of make it up however they want?
2. Have you had some ideas for season 5 or do you not think about that until youâre given a green light for another season?
2a. Also, have you ever taken, or think of taking into consideration what fans obsess over and ask for? (Like the totally mysterious red hooded ninja) Or do you just do your thing
3. Do you regret having the og team grow up so fast, would you rather have kept the vibe from the 1st season going for longer?
4. Do you regret making such a big time skip between seasons 1 and 2? I would obviously assume it was for the purpose of the 16h connection but we also donât see much of what happened between them. Have you decided to completely abandon it and just move on with the show?
Anyway I love the show and tysm for gracing the earth w itðââï¸
Hello, Greg. I wanted to warn you right away that I don't know English, so I use Google Translate. Thank you for good cartoons! I know you also worked on the cartoon series The Witch.
1. In episode 26 of season 2, Lord Cedric said that he loves Miranda. How old is Miranda? And why does she look like a child?
2. Are Cedric and Miranda's feelings mutual?
3. In episode 25 of season 2, Cedric betrayed Phobos. Did he initially want to betray and rule himself?
Hello Greg,
I was hoping if Young Justice will return for a 5th season, I want to know what can fans do so it can return, I know it's too much to ask for even after the show was cancelled after the first 2 seasons, but we have alot of unanswered questions on the show and many fans would like Wally West to return, This show has been a huge impact on me since I was 13 , I'm 22 now not the biggest DC fan but Young justice is something else the show has always been a great motivation for me to be an animator and I'm in art school now also it has been a big source of inspiration through out the years. There is a fan petition at change.org for the return of a 5th season please tell us is it possible that we can get a 5th last season that can complete all the missing stories that we've been waiting for or is it already too late? and if yes please BRING WALLY BACK
If we get another season of young justice can we see superboy get his full kryptonian powers.
Why did Xanatos's men attack Goliath and Elisa in Awakening Parts 3-4? Also why did he put that tracker on Goliath?
If Superboy had gotten a eulogy for his "death" in season 4, what exactly would you have said?
Is it possible to access or post the scripts for the final unaired/unproduced episodes to Starship Troopers: Roughneck Chronicles?
My wife and her best friend have been fans of the show since it came out. I am trying to see if there is any written version or audio copy of this event I can find as this is something they have both hoped to read or find out what happened one day.
They claim there was a Gargoyle Convention in Orlando where the three scripts for the unaired episodes was read to the crowd. I think its from 2000 based on https://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?rid=773.
I know in previous posts you have said your scripts don't format correctly here, but I would take any legible format. I also understand from other posts you don't post the radio play scripts, but since this was written material that never made it to publication, I hoped this may be different.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Greg,
I was wondering about the references to Depa Billaba's backstory in your Kanan comics. Have you read the Shatterpoint novel, or was were those Story Group suggestions? If you did read it, were there any other old Star Wars books or comics you read as research for your work on Rebels and Kanan?
Thanks
Two questions:
1. How does Anubis do whatever it is he does that allows death to happen when he's stuck on Avalon for the Gathering?
2. Do gargoyles have cloacae?
Hi Greg! Iâve loved Young Justice for years, and am currently rewatching it. (I wonder what Iâll be watching by the time this question gets answeredâ¦) Anyways, I have a few questions for you about the show.
1) If you could make any silly, filler, or fluff episodes (that would be canon to the Young Justice universe), what would they be about? Personally, Iâd love to see what sort of shenanigans the season 1 Team got up to.
2) Do you have a favorite character, episode, and/or season? If so, why? My favorite character is Dick Grayson, my favorite episode is âHome Frontâ, and my favorite season is season one.
3) How did you originally decide that Wally would die at the end of season 2? Was it in the original script, or did his death get added in on a later edit? On that note, when you first decided to kill Wally, did you plan on bringing him back? This is not asking if you currently plan on bringing him back, I want to know what you were thinking at the time. I guess, how much can you say about your original plans? Iâm really curious about your creative process, especially for such a big event in the show. Hopefully, you can share without risking spoilers!
Thanks for making such an amazing show, Iâm so glad my cousin introduced me to it all those years ago. Itâs truest been a delight to watch the show progress.
Does/did Steve Trevor exist on earth 16 and if so when and how long was he alive? What time period?
First, I am a huge fan of the Young Justice show/series will continue to keep tabs of any future content.
Questions I have:
1) In "Illusion of Control" when Gar, Virgil, Jaime, Bart, Traci and Ed are chasing after the helicopter it had gone over my head that Ed, who at the time was not a member of the Team let alone the Outsiders, had an ear piece when he asked Jaime ("Blue") if his armor could offer some protection against Vertigo. Is the earpiece he used in that episode, a souvenir from the time he and the other Runaways worked with the League and other heroes in "Endgame" or did someone lend him theirs (maybe Gar or Traci)?
2) Would you consider using other media formats like maybe light novels (novels with images along with word content)/YA novels to continue telling stories from YJ Earth-16?
3) If you could write/tell stories about Outsider missions (missions the Outsiders were on or completed) that were not shown on the show or in the tie-in comics what would they be (would also understand if this question falls under spoilers)?
were there gargoyle clans in ancient greece egypt and mesopotamia?
Hello. I am a fan from 2025. Dunno if this site is still active, but it's worth a shot.
1)Greg, would you ever consider a continuation of the series in the same format as compared to a spinoff? I, for one, must say that I love the show and respect the total disregard for what may be 'respectable'. [Reading that almost seems like a paradox, I know]
2)I haven't read the comics and would like to know if they're worth the time. Are they true to the idea you had originally?
Thanks for the time, T
1how did you get into showbiz?
2 When and how did you get angent
Hey Greg Weisman,There's a fanfiction writer on Reddit who goes by Chaos Rubix. created some incredible fanfic scripts for a potential Season 5 of Young Justice, in case the show ever gets renewed.

Hi Greg,
Assuming you have a timeline written up for The Spectacular Spider-Men, I would like to know how many Wednesdays does the series span in total?
Thanks
Hi, Greg! I'd like to start out by saying that I grew up on Spectacular Spider-Man. I was here years old when I came out, and it formulated so much of what I like in Spider-Man today, and it deeply depresses me to see what happened with the show, since it's one of my favorite shows of all time.
My question to you is: has there ever been consideration for completing the series in comic book format? Kind of like how Smallville had a Season 11 in the form of a comic book. I've thought of this for a while, but never gave it serious consideration knowing that some TV show runners just aren't trained in the ways of the comic industry, but I was recently surprised to know that you are very familiar with writing comics, and have actually done series for Gargoyles and Young Justice! I'm sure you are very busy with the "Spectacular Spider-Men" series that is ongoing, but to know if this had been in consideration might give me some closure. I would really appreciate your opinion, and I'm looking forward to seeing more stuff from you because of your talent!
Hi Greg,
I was wondering your thoughts on how the art of writing superhero comics has changed from when you started with Captain Atom back in the day, to now working on the Spectacular Spider-Men. For example things like writing arcs for the trade paperback, working in an office vs working from home, metrics of success, approaches to continuity and crossover events, the death of thought bubbles, multimedia synergy, frequent new #1s, etc. I'd be interested to know if you had challenges or some sort of learning curve to adapt to any of these industry changes. Does the process feel substantially different, or is it all the same once you get in front of the keyboard?
Thank you
Mr. Weissman, I'd like to question. When you were creating Gargoyles: Bad Guys you weren't inspired by manga? It just has a manga-like style. Sorry, if this not the smartest question. Just interested.
Mr. Weisman, do you plan to open a Bluesky account in the near future? Please consider joining and leaving the fascist platform behind.
